We have been together for 5 years. Somehow, he completely managed to knock me way off guard! I 100% thought this weekend get-away was solely to get away and celebrate his graduation from school. A couple of my friends had asked me if this was 'the weekend' that 'something special would happen'. HA! I had told them NO, that this weekend was all about the Sambo! Seriously, little did I know he had a couple tricks up his sleeve!
After dinner, Sam told me him and Lady had a surprise for me because I did so well in school this past semester. He grabbed his duffel bag and took Lady to the bathroom. I thought he was going to dress Lady up as Rudolph for me! I've been wanting to do that for a couple of months now..I mean why else would he take our pup and a duffel bag into the bathroom?!
He came out of the bathroom and Lady followed, not dressed up as I thought she'd be. He told her to go get in my lap...and she did. The ring was on her collar. I immediately started crying! SO EXCITED!!!! Sam came over and gave a sweet little speech, not going to lie...it was even more touching because he was getting teary eyed. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I SCREAMED YES! Lots of hugs, kisses, text messages, and phone calls happened after that! :D
It was a pretty awesome surprise!

I would like to share the cabin information! If you ever want a mountain escape in northern Georgia, I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin! Great view, great cabin! It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main level of the house, and the down stairs has 1 room and 1 bathroom. There is a hot tub and it's pet friendly! They provide everything you can think of.
