One Year Anniversary

This year has flown by! My husband and I were caught off guard when we realized our one year anniversary was quickly approaching. As in we had one week to plan something. EEK! Luckily we're both easy going people and only cared about spending some good ol' quality time together, even if it meant playing board games at home, which was part of our anniversary date. Neither of us were offended that the other had forgotten that our anniversary day was only a few days away. ;)

For the first part of our date we drank cocktails (Sam had a beer..) and grubbed on some yummy country cookin' at JCT Kitchen, where we enjoyed each others company with some entertaining conversation that may or may not have included dinosaurs and zombies.

Our JCT Kitchen Meal Included: Fresh buttermilk biscuits with homemade raspberry jam, deviled eggs, meat loaf (Sam's), fried chicken(mine), macaroni and cheese (shared), collard greens (shared), mashed potatoes (shared), and a slice of coca-cola chocolate cake (we each got our own). We had to be rolled out of the restaurant...not literally, but if we had eaten any more food it would have had to happen!

After dinner we came home, drank some more, and played lots of scrabble. It was a fantastic evening!
