Capital Bar // The Ranch

95.9 The Ranch is a very popular Texas radio station that only plays Texan artists. Every Wednesday evening during the Spring and Summer months, The Ranch hosts a music series that presents local artists at Capital Bar in the Cultural District in Fort Worth.

Sam, the in-laws, and I went to see what the music series was all about. It was so much fun! The bar and stage setting are perfect for concerts. There were several outdoor bars surrounding the stage (2 upstairs and about 3 downstairs that I saw), so no one line was ever too long to wait in for a drink. The staff was friendly, the bathrooms were clean, beers were cold, and the sound system worked great. Capital Bar got an A+ in my book.

I love that the music series are on Wednesday evenings; it's the perfect way to break up to a monotonous office working week.
