Confluence Park // Denver, CO

My last day in Denver was the coldest. There were snow flurries on and off throughout the day. Even though I was unprepared for cold and only had a thin raincoat, I stuck to my plan. I visited Confluence Park and walked the trail, laid out on Stoner Hill (not sure if this is the true name, or just what the locals call it), and sat on the rocks by the water. It was very peaceful.....and cold. Eventually I decided I had as much wind and snow flurries as I could take and headed to the warmth of the Starbucks that was across the river.

Even in the cold, I very much enjoyed the park and was very happy to have experienced the tiniest piece of Denver's beauty.
