Whole30 // Week 1 Update

The first week of Whole30 is the most difficult week for me. The first two days go by without carby/sugary food cravings and I'm fine. I really don't miss a thing, but come day three the 'sugar dragon' awakens and all I want is something super sweet. I've been dealing with the worst sweet tooth cravings this week; it has actually made me a little grumpy. What gets me through the cravings is the fact that I know I will feel so healthy soon. That healthy feeling is truly amazing, but getting there is hard. It's just a matter of sticking to it.

...& of course one thing that gets me by when having that sugary craving attack is knowing that I have a small piece of FRUIT waiting for me after my dinner at the end of the day!
